Description

I have had some trouble uploading a print profile: please use the provided .3mf gcode files in the dropdown to print with optimal settings! Both A1 mini and P1P print files are provided as are individual .stl files

Seeing all the 3D printed disc launchers/gun models/bb launchers/whatever was giving me the impression that they all seem rather generic, so I decided to go a completely different route and return to the basics with this blowdart pipe, fully original and developed by Bruticus Creations Pro! However, instead of a simple pipe and dart that has been the unchanging design for so many generations of huntsmen and tribesmen for ages, I decided to take a little inspiration from the modern weapons of today and see just how much I could over engineer this weapon!

Coming in with over 7 upgrades, the once-humble blowpipe takes on a slightly enhanced version, incorporating a sniper scope, dart holders, finger guards, folding bipod, inhalation guard, flared muzzle, and more. The best part is, you can request any version you’d like if you only want a specific upgrade. Or, print the mega version for crazy dart blasting fun.

Chambered in 4x30mm finned darts, the barrel incorporates a smoothbore Phillips slotted design to maximise accuracy, yet inhalation is protected by an idiot proof guard (yes, you can try to suck it in). To launch at full power, cover the mouthpiece with your lips and press your tongue against the hole, inflate your cheeks and attempt to exhale normally through your mouth to build up pressure, and pull back your tongue in one motion to release all of it in one explosive go!

Recommended settings:

Darts: Print at 3 wall loops and 200 degrees celsius if using PLA to reduce bubbling and dripping syndrome (helps with aerodynamics). Infill is negligible, but feel free to use a brim for better bed adhesion. Print with a brighter filament for better recovery.

Blowpipe: Print with 15% infill with 3 wall loops and 3 layers top and bottom. Use supports on all overhangs EXCEPT the second cross in the sniper scope (forward one) and the forward scope pillar, and the muzzle exhaust (3 slots in the forward nozzle) as these do not require supports for well calibrated printers.
