Description

A modular utensil drawer organizer designed around a 2.5 inch x 2.5 inch grid.

There are several trays of different sizes: 1x1, 1x2, 1x3, 1x4 (the silverware drawer), 2x2 and 2x3. Each piece is connected together using a press fit dovetail connector. The configuration in the picture above uses a 1x1, six 1x4's, a 2x2 and a 2x3 tray.

Before printing 30 or more connectors, print one and verify it fits snuggly. If it's too tight, resize the connector until you get the right fit. Then print the other connectors you will need to complete your project.

I've been wanting to redo my silverware drawer for a while, and this worked out perfectly. I scaled them down a little bit to fit my needs. Thanks, great build!

I scaled it up to the dimensions I wanted. It was too long for the print bed, so I cut it in half using a dovetail and printed it in 2 parts. The 2 halves fit back together nice and tight.

Is it possible to make a 1x5 one to match the 1x4? Great model! Am printing more right now

Ok, I'm printing a test right now but there's a caveat. This will only print on a large format printer like the H2D or H2C. I'm trying it out on my H2C and if it's fine I'll post the profile.

Update: The file printed well and I'm the one who should have measured my flatware before printing. I ended up being able up use them in my office supplies drawer and they worked great! I'm planning on modifying them a bit to hold my utensils accurately. Original 3 star review: I am having a few issues with this set. My knives are barely too long for the longest tray you have (the 4x1 tray) and my little forks are too long for your little for 3x1 tray. What silverware did you measure to design these? Also, the connectors don't fit. I might have elephant's foot on everything. But I will need to scale down the connectors to connect everything.

Absolutely perfect drawer organizers! I can find everything again. Easy, clean prints and you can print whichever shapes you need over and over. Hoping there is a longer thin version in the future!

love it fits my drawer perfectly! still printing more then will print the connectors but it replaced my broken bamboo one and will last even longer too!

Love these! Printing them now to revamp my drawer. I have a larger drawer, would it be easy to have a 2 x 4 made?

I can do that. If you have a large scale printer (H2 series) I have a model I can post right now. Otherwise I need to split the model so it will fit on a smaller plate since a 2x4 is 256mm long which is the maximum size of a P/X series plate.
