Description
Ikea discontinued the much loved and hackable Fira back in 2011. This is a re-imagined version for 3d printing. This is a rather large print consuming about 2.3kg of filament. Best printed on a H2d with PETG and PLA supports.
Assembly order.
- Combine the 2 part frame pieces together. (top, bottom, 2x middle, and back). A rubber mallet can be useful.
- Use super glue and glue in lock piece into the 2 part frame pieces
- Build the box in this order :
- connect the left and right pieces into the bottom frame.
- Add the back frame
- Followed by the top.
- Finally add the middle frames.
If desired, add super glue to lock the pieces together,
