This figure depicts a gargoyle in a contemplative posture, kneeling with its hands resting on the ground, as if guarding an ancient secret or awaiting the judgment of ages. Its wings and prominent horns evoke the demonic imagery that populates the heights of Gothic cathedrals, where the grotesque transforms into the sublime.
Gargoyles, traditionally conceived as guardians that ward off evil, are here reinterpreted as beings who understand it. This figure does not scream: it listens. It does not threaten: it observes. It is the echo of a sacred architecture that blends the human, the monstrous, and the divine into a single form.
This figure is complemented by the female version sitting on an ornamental throne, haughtily disdaining it.
Print Details:
- 0.2mm layer height
- Be very careful when removing supports, especially those on the wings.
- Used fuzzy skin in parts of the image, combined with smooth parts such as on the wings.
