Finally, version 2 of the ultimate parent / sibling annoyer – I mean, the Wrist Mounted Disc Launcher is finally here!

      Features:

  • Fully printed return mechanism (you don't need to use a metal spring / rubber band anymore)
  • Fewer parts → easier assembly
  • New strap, easier to wear (can fit adults and kids)
  • The base now has slots for users to add their own custom straps ( I recommend velcro )
  • More durable build
  • Now fires 3 rounds! Thats 3x more than the original, 6 shots for dual-wielded fun!

⚠️ Warning: Slightly Addictive

At least for me—I STILL can’t get enough of it.

⚠️ Safety Notes

  • This build is safe and fun but never aim directly at people or animals.
  • Avoid pointing at faces or eyes.
  • If you want to play a friendly game of tag, wear glasses first.

Are you ready to build?

If you’re building this with your son, daughter, niece, nephew, or anyone else, here’s a fun world-building scenario to start with:

You’re in the lab, working on a new variant of a friendly neighborhood hero’s shooter. This one doesn’t fire webs, it launches compact tracking discs designed for stealth missions! Every part you assemble brings you closer to finishing a prototype that will help the hero keep watch over the city. Ready?

Step 1: Parents, grab a cup of coffee or tea. Kids, grab a glass of water. Suit up for the build.

Step 2: Clear a spot on the table, this is now your superhero lab bench.

Step 3: Lay out all the parts in front of you. Each piece is a component of the prototype tracker shooter.

Step 4: Carefully remove all support material. Wear safety glasses—heroes always protect themselves first.

Step 5: This is a mechanical model, prepare lubrication to ensure that parts move smoothly. The difference is night and day.

Step 6: Play the video and follow along. Pause anytime to check your progress.

Assembly Video

   Assembly time: about 10–15 minutes.

⚠️ Handle with Care

  • The Disc Launcher is fully 3D printed; every part is plastic.
  • It’s fun and functional, but not indestructible.
  • Use it gently; avoid forcing parts or applying too much pressure.
  • With care, it will last a long time.
  • All parts are modular and replaceable, so you can reprint individual pieces if needed.

Huge thanks to EHM_Prints for helping me improve this model. He gave me solid ideas on how to refine the mechanism, make assembly more intuitive, and troubleshoot issues I wouldn’t have caught on my own. The upgrades in this version wouldn’t be the same without his input.

If you experience breakage, issues with assembly, or have suggestions, please share them in the community. Your feedback directly helps shape the next update.

TIPS FOR RAPID FIRE:

This takes a bit of skill and practice, but with the right technique, you can send discs out flying F A S T.

Step 1:
Press down on the lever button and fire as you normally would.
Make sure the flat part of the lever ( shown below ) is resting firmly on your palm while you do this.

Step 2:
After the disc flies out, DONT RELEASE YOUR FINGERS BY LIFTING THEM UP, instead,

let your fingers SLIP AND SLIDE OUT of the lever button. This will make the lever return back to its original position very fast, allowing you to repeat the process much faster.

Step 3:

REPEAT AND ENJOY
