I have this articulating arm thing that has a male tripod thread.

Also have a random magnetic mount that can grab a gps ball.

Obviously these two things were not compatible, so I made a female thread to gps adapter. My phone case is magnetic, so I can slap my phone on this articulating arm now.

Just having some fun, messing around cause why not.

So the one end is 1/4”-20UNC but what is the ball end sizing? I’m looking for something just like this but there’s a lot of different ball sizes around.

That is a good point, you are right about the 1/4, the ball measures 17mm which is basically 5/8.
