This 3D-printable ring light is made of two parts, the outer ring and inner ring, which fit together to form the ring light. A 1m LED strip (ideally a cuttable type, since only about 80 cm is needed) sticks to the inside of the outer ring, while the inner ring locks in place to maximize light diffusion. The assembled ring slots directly into the base with a snug, tool-free fit, and with 4 interchangeable bases, you can easily swap or remove the ring without disassembling the model. 

The model has been optimized to save as much filament as possible and can be scaled down to fit smaller beds like the A1 Mini, just remember to trim the LED strip to size when downsizing.

Perfect for showcasing your favorite Gundam, figure, or collectible with brilliant lighting.

 

Slicer settings (already set in the included print profile): 

  • Outer ring: print with default settings.
  • Inner ring: print with 0% infill & 1 wall for maximum light diffusion.
  • Bases: 5% infill is plenty to balance strength and efficiency.
  • Supports: already optimized in the print profile (top & bottom interface layers = 3, top Z distance = 0.3 mm). You can use tree or normal supports depending on preference.
  • preferably add brim to enhance bed adhesion

Note: You can buy the LED strip from the Maker Supply or use any standard 1m LED strip of your choice.
