Description

Since there is no rackmount model for the Draytek Draytek Vigor 167, I created one that can also be used in a 19" cabinet.

The brackets on the left and right are screwed to the actual router cage. In addition, the cage also allows you to use the Vigor's wall mounting points to secure it in place. The cage itself is relatively sturdy and holds the modem securely in place.

The rack mount requires additional materials such as heat inserts to ensure secure mounting and stability.

For clean and stable installation:

  1. Two heat inserts are inserted into the cage and four heat inserts each into the left and right arms.
  2. The M3x16 BHCS are screwed into the cage itself and locked in place on the rear side with M3 nuts.
  3. The arms are screwed to the cage with four M3x8 BHCS each.
