Description

update Jan 2026:  the original 3MF had one tray that was an older design (the STL included was correct but I failed to save the 3MF prior to uploading it last summer.  The incorrect model has been updated in the 3MF to match the STL originally uploaded.  Sorry for the trouble!

This insert if for Darwin's Journey retail.  I would like the collector's edition, but too much money for what it has….I will print the wax seals ;)

All insert pictures are shown.

The bottom trays have no lids, since the board, and other trays cover them.  The card box and bonus tray (good for scorepad and pencil) are a bit shorter in height than the rest and this is due to the rule book spline being thicker.  Place the spline over the open tray, and the card box.

Beautiful game (rulebook and box art are excellently printed).

The gray is PLA+ which is the first time I have used it (I think).  It worked well.  I try to use as little filament as possible.  These are open air!

I was able to print multiple on the same plate, but I woun't print more than 2 player trays or lids at a time..  Variables include humidity (noticed my workshop was 66% today and filament isn't working well unless it is dried before).

If you like this insert please consider following me and post your pictures!
