Description
Edge Protector for Tie-down Straps – Protect Strap & Surface
This flat 3D-printed edge protector made of TPU ensures that no friction occurs between the tie-down strap and the object being secured. This protects both the strap and the surface, extending the lifespan of both parts. Printed without support and with little material – simple, effective, and functional. Also perfect for roof tents and securing tarpaulins.
⚙️ Features
- Material: Flexible TPU – adapts well to the surface; soft enough to reduce wear, but stable enough for durable use.
- Print-friendly: Can be printed without support; low material consumption – ideal for quick prints.
- Flat Design: The protective surface is flat, placed between the strap and the edge element, covering the contact point.
- Universally applicable: For a wide variety of objects – e.g., furniture, boxes, metal frames, also delicate surfaces that could be damaged by tie-down straps.
📐 Application & Tips
- Before securing, position the edge protector between the strap and the edge so that the webbing runs over the protector, not directly over the edge.
- TPU offers slight flexibility – ideal if the surface is not completely flat.
