Cabinet Straw Holder - Customizable heights FIXED
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is a Remix of seeshaughnessy 's design, which can be found here.
I HAVE REWORKED THE MODEL GEOMETRY BASED ON FEEDBACK AND FIXED BED ADHESION ISSUES
I've been looking for a good cabinet-mounted straw holder, and saw several designs I liked, but couldn't find one that fit my needs - specifically one that allowed for multiple straw heights AND was optimized for filament usage. Seeshaughnessy's design came close, so I modified the top straw holder to instead of being one solid piece, be two separate pieces so it could be mounted at different heights parallel to the straw base. However, I was able to split and rejoin the top piece to also preserve the integrity of the four panel storage that the original base has.
Now, we're able to have a storage section for short straws, as well as a storage section for long straws, without having to waste a bunch of filament to print a third rack from the original design, or use one of the other designs that isn't filament optimized using the hexagon pattern.
Visually, I was able to go from the original design, which was two separate pieces and looked like this:

To my new modified design which is three pieces, allows for multiple length straws, and looks like this:

From there, it's as simple as using some command strips to mount the model to the inside of the cabinet, and voila, straw storage.
The model in the photos was printed using Bambu Galaxy PLA purple, and was printed at .2mm layer height with 10% gyroid infill. I used an outer brim on the two top pieces as well.
Boost Me (for free)
I'm just a dad with a hobby - if you like what I design, consider giving me a boost so I can get more filament to fuel the hobby :) Thank you!
