Description

This reinforced shelf is designed to fit perfectly on the headboard of the IKEA IDANÄS double bed, or it can be installed at the side of the bed. Whether you need a space to hold your CPAP device, phone, or other bedside essentials, this shelf provides a sturdy and practical solution.

Features:

  • Designed for IKEA IDANÄS headboard
  • Reinforced hook with 4mm thickness for better load handling
  • Ideal for CPAP machines or lightweight accessories
  • Shelf size: 200×220×40mm
  • Printed with PETG (but PLA recommended for greater rigidity)
  • Print profile optimized for strength:
    – 0.2mm layer height
    – 0.6mm line width
    – Reduced speed for better adhesion

In the print profile, you can find 2 versions with a brim and without. The version with a brim is better for PETG or other warping-prone materials.

Custom sizing is possible — just reach out if you need adjustments!

Happy printing—and rest easy with everything within reach!

P.S. If you are looking for a solution to reduce 3D printer noise, have a look on my soundproof enclosure design crafted from IKEA furniture. This enclosure reduces printer noise and ensures impressive 36.5 dB(A) at just 1 meter away. Detailed instruction how to build it you may find here
