Description

Mac Book Air Stand

Since I recently bought a Mac Book Air, I was looking for a stand to place it on my desk.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything suitable. So I sat down and started to create something myself.

You can see the result here.

You have the option of loading the print profile directly or each STL individually

I have also uploaded the doors as a STEP file.

This gives you the option to customize the appearance of the doors.

Whether it's patterns, fonts, or whatever else you want. It's up to your imagination.

The dimensions of the recesses for the feet can be found below as screenshots.

This allows you to measure in advance whether this is suitable for you.

I myself use it for a Mac Book Air M3.

My print profile is saved with PETG. This is because I didn't have dark green PLA available.

However, it works just as well with PLA.

If you are satisfied with my work, I would be very grateful for a boost.

Installation is very simple and works as follows:

The two main parts are joined together using a dovetail joint.

When printing, make sure that your filament is

calibrated so that the joint fits properly at the  end.

If it is a little loose, you can add a few drops of

superglue to the guide before joining the

parts together.

Once you have done this, you can insert the front frames.

I constructed these with a little space and attached them using superglue.

The following pictures show the assembly process.

The left side is marked with 1, the right side with 2.

Once you have glued all the parts together, you are almost done.

Now just insert the bases from the back and the doors from the side.

Enjoy your new desktop organizer with a holder for your MacBook Air.

The measurement is approximately 254 mm center to center.

The inner diameter is 23 mm.

And here it is 165 mm center by center.
