Screw connection for making a baiting station

This is a screw connection consisting of 2 parts:

Lower component with internal thread

Upper component (lid) with knurling and external thread

You drill a hole (Ø120mm) into a beer keg or another container with a hole saw and insert the lower component. This can be attached to the keg with 4x sheet metal screws or rivets.

Then you screw on the lid and have a re-sealable object.

Ideal for a baiting station for feeding wild animals.
The beer keg must, of course, also have holes on the sides. But this is only about the use of the screw cap.
