Dark Zagi Ultraman

Dark Zagi is a villain character appearing in the Japanese tokusatsu series "Ultraman" and is the final boss in the current story of "Ultraman Nexus".

Originally, he was a biological weapon created by the Visitors, modeled after the legendary warrior and savior of light, Ultraman Noa, to eradicate Space Beasts. He later gained self-awareness and went berserk. To eliminate Dark Zagi, the Visitors detonated their home planet, but still failed to kill him. In "Yume no Sen" (Dream Battle), a manga picture book magazine published by Shogakukan, Dark Zagi arrived at the Monster Graveyard in the universe where the Land of Light is located and revived Space Beasts, causing unimaginable destruction. He ultimately engaged in a fierce battle with Ultraman Noa and was sealed by Ultraman Noa.

In Episode 37 of "Ultraman Nexus", after Dark Zagi's resurrection, he fought against the Ultraman Nexus transformed by Kazuki Komon, suppressing him with immense power. He was eventually defeated by Kazuki Komon, who evolved into Ultraman Noa, using Lightning Noa.

In the Ultraman Ginga worldview, a Spark Doll of Dark Zagi appeared, which was then materialized by Dark Lugiel, who controlled Dark Zagi to attack Ultraman Ginga. They engaged in an evenly matched battle, but Dark Zagi was ultimately defeated when Ultraman Ginga destroyed his energy core. Dark Zagi is known as the strongest dark god of destruction (as explained in Episode 19 of "Ultraman Retsuden").
