Italian Battleship Littorio - 300mm Scale

Welcome, I am pleased to present to you the Italian Regia Marina Littorio class battleship.  This battleship class, while not as well known as its French, English, and German counterparts, was remarkably well designed and capable.  

This model is the result of over 100 hours of modeling, testing, and printing.  It was created from the ground up specifically with FDM printing in mind.  I spent a lot of time referencing blueprints, visiting ww2 forums and Facebook groups to gather as much information as possible in order to build a model that is not only good looking, but historically accurate.  

Printing Considerations:

• Please consider using the print profiles I supplied above.  I spent a lot of time tweaking the models and profiles to provide you with a high quality print.  Please take note of each profiles specific details so that you are downloading the right one.

• The hull is printed using a 0.4mm nozzle  with no issues.  Supports are needed for the propeller shafts and for the anchor.  

   

• While the majority of the small deck pieces and accessories can be printing with a 0.4mm nozzle, to get the most detail I suggest printing them using the provided 0.2mm nozzle.  

  • I SUGGEST A SMOOTH PEI PLATE FOR THESE TINY PARTS
  • USE EXTRA CARE WHEN REMOVING THESE TINY PARTS FROM THE PRINT BED

   

• IMAM Ro. 43 Sea Plane -  MUST BE PRINTED using a 0.2mm nozzle. 
  • This model is incredibly delicate.  Please take care when removing it from the print bed
  • The plane is split into 2 pieces and must be glued together.
