A bike ride with the kids

Bike trailer is fine, but what about the kids' bike or balance bike

I initially had this problem and always awkwardly attached the balance bike or children's bicycle to the Hamax bike trailer using a tension strap

The results were always the same requiring a lot of effort and lacking optimal hold I'd have to check it after a few kilometers or it would slip I always had in mind that it wasn't 100% secure

Now I have designed the HUCKE & PACK which can be printed in 2 versions

HUCKE & PACK Large: tension strap with a width of 2.5 cm can be threaded through, designed to mount on a bike trailer handle with a 31mm diameter

HUCKE & PACK Strong: Velcro strap up to 2.5cm, designed to mount on a bike trailer handle with a 31mm diameter

Both versions feature a 19mm tapered receptacle, allowing the handlebar top tube, such as that of a WOOM children's balance bike or children's bicycle, to snap in and be easily secured with a Velcro strap or tension strap

When loading, the bike is secured in the tapered 19mm holder The tension strap or Velcro strap are already threaded into the guide and ready for use This ensures the bike is firmly secured to the bicycle trailer and cannot slip

The first test ride was successful everything remained stable and in place

The center of gravity is slightly higher but not a concern for normal road rides If the bike trailer's handlebar is correctly adjusted, the front and rear balance will also be maintained
