I designed these shin guards myself and optimized them for 3D printing. They are designed to be easily adjustable and adapt well to various leg shapes.

  • Material recommendation: PETG (ABS or other heat-resistant materials might also work, but PETG has proven effective).
  • Customization: After printing, the parts can be heated in an air fryer at ~80 °C for 3–5 minutes. This makes them flexible and allows them to be shaped directly on the shin.
  • Application note: Caution, the material is hot after heating! It is best to place thin trousers or a cloth between the material and your skin when adjusting.
  • Wall thickness: Do not go below 1.5 mm – thinner versions tend to break and offer little protection.
  • Size: The model can be scaled as needed to individually adapt the shin guards to leg length and circumference.
