My outdoor backpack has a sternum strap, and fastening it during hiking can improve backpack comfort.
However, I almost never fasten this chest strap during my daily commute (because I don't carry heavy items and it feels a bit strange to fasten it while commuting). This strap cannot be removed without damage, so when I don't fasten it, there's always a strap dangling in front of me.

So I printed a retainer clip for the backpack sternum strap. When we don't need to fasten the strap, we can simply secure it; when we do need to fasten it, we can quickly undo the clip and fasten the strap.

I've been using it for a long time myself, it's very practical and keeps the strap neatly secured.

This retainer clip is suitable for 3cm wide straps, and I printed it with Bambu Lab's PLA Matte, which works great!
