Description
This is a 3D printed gauge pod holder designed specifically for 2-5/8 inch (62.3 mm) automotive gauges. The cradle is shaped to securely seat the gauge while keeping it easily visible, making it ideal for dashboards, center consoles, or custom mounting surfaces.
- Gauge Compatibility: Fits standard 2-5/8" (62.3 mm) gauges, with 44.6 mm depth clearance on the rear end.
- Material: Tested with PLA, but can also be printed with PETG or ABS for added heat resistance.
- Design Features:
- Curved pod cradle for a snug, stable fit.
- Flat base for adhesive or double-sided tape mounting.
- Optional version included with screw holes sized for #8 sheet metal screws, for those who prefer a permanent installation.
- Applications: Automotive builds, simulator dashboards, or anywhere an extra gauge is needed.
Recommended Print Settings
- Layer Height: 0.08 mm (fine detail)
- Infill: 20%
- Infill Pattern: Gyroid
- Wall Loops: 4 (for strength and durability)
- Supports: None required — the model is designed without overhangs.
