Description
I designed a simple, functional fruit/wine press that can be used for juicing grapes, apples, or other fruits. The press works by applying downward force on the fruit basket, squeezing out juice efficiently. With around 150 lbs of force applied, the pressure at the fruit surface is in the ballpark of ~12 PSI — which is about the same level of pressure that traditional wine presses use to extract juice without crushing seeds or introducing bitterness.
