This model is a lovingly designed, typically Swedish birdhouse, inspired by the classic red wooden houses with white window frames. It serves as both a feeding station for birds and a small 'nut garage' for squirrels.

The construction consists of several printable individual parts, including mounting wedges. This allows you to screw it firmly onto a wooden board from the hardware store or glue it securely with PU adhesive. The base plate is deliberately not included in the model, so you have flexibility (wood or self-printed).

Material Recommendation:

  • Walls & Window Frames: PETG (weather-resistant, stable)
  • Roof: ASA (even better UV-resistant, for strong sunlight)
  • Adhesive: PU adhesive recommended (board-resistant, weather-resistant)

In the photos, you can see how the squirrels have already joyfully accepted the house – they take a nut and even seem to say thank you.

An eye-catcher in the garden – decorative, practical, and a real highlight for nature lovers!

Only one side part fits the window. I didn't want to print the other three again. I cut the windows to size. The small gap that then arises is not noticeable. Not ideal but practical

The house looks great, unfortunately most of the windows and doors do not fit properly. I then cut the windows and doors in the slicer into inner and outer parts, glued them separately, and painted the resulting gaps with white paint. The print plates are also very poorly put together, you print parts that you don't need. Such a shame for such a beautiful project

Hello everyone, I am currently printing this beautiful little house. Unfortunately, I noticed that there are 6 roof supports but only 2 grooves in the side walls, so only 4 roof supports can be used. Thank you in advance Sincerely Ralf

With me it's the same... still printing... does it work with only 4 roof supports?

Printed great. I had to create a new window file and door file for proper fit on the end walls. One window on each end and both end doors. After that, it is a great print. I will add a photo ones I have it mounted and in place.

I have a question before I start printing. Bambu Studio complains about overhangs, should I enable supports or did you print this without supports?

Yes ... you have to work quite a lot with support structures ... the creator didn't take that into account
