Beam Generator - Parametric Beams, Bars & Extrudes

This OpenSCAD script lets you generate a wide range of parametric beams, bars, and extrusions — all fully customizable using real engineering parameters. From classic I-beams and channels to aluminum T-slot profiles, this tool makes it easy to configure and adapt cross-sections for your projects. Perfect for structural modeling, mechanical design, woodworking, or architectural applications.

🚀 Quick Start

1. Select Your Profile
Pick a cross-section (I, T, L, U, Z, rectangular, polygonal, elliptical, or aluminum T-slot) and set your beam length.
 

2. Customize Dimensions
Each profile has its own parameter group. Adjust height, width, thickness, radii, slopes, and more to suit your needs. All dimensions are in millimeters.

3. Render & Export
Finalize and prepare your beam:

• Fine-tune resolution and color in Render settings (optional).
• Export to your slicer and auto-orient the model.
• Print, simulate, or integrate into your assemblies! 🎉
