⚠️ Disclaimer: Use of PLA 3D Printed Utensils
Important Safety Notice
These utensils are made from PLA (Polylactic Acid), a biodegradable thermoplastic derived from renewable resources such as corn starch or sugarcane. While PLA is food-safe in its raw form, 3D printed PLA items are not certified for prolonged or repeated food contact due to the following considerations:
🍴 Usage Guidelines
- Intended for occasional or decorative use only. Not recommended for daily eating or hot foods.
- Avoid contact with high temperatures. PLA softens at around 60°C (140°F), which means it can warp or degrade when exposed to hot liquids, dishwashers, or boiling water.
- Not microwave-safe or dishwasher-safe.
🧼 Cleaning Instructions
- Hand wash only with lukewarm water and mild soap.
- Use a soft sponge or cloth—do not scrub aggressively, as printed layers can trap bacteria and degrade with abrasion.
- Dry thoroughly after washing to prevent moisture buildup in layer lines.
⚠️ Hygiene Warning
Due to the layered nature of 3D printing, micro-gaps may harbor bacteria, even after washing. These utensils are not recommended for use by children or individuals with compromised immune systems.
