Retro TV Enclosure for Echo Show 5 (Gen 3)
Print Profile(3)

Description
I thought it would be a fun idea to make a retro stand for my Echo Show. After going overboard, I wound up with a full retro TV enclosure.
The face plate and main body have holes to glue magnets so you can easily swap different color face plates or remove the Echo Show if necessary. The magnets I used are 6mm x 1.6mm. I made the holes a bit too small and had to carve it out a bit for my final print (as you can tell from the scratches in the picture). I went back and fixed it so it should be fine now.
The “table” and antenna can be glued in place if you want. That was my plan, but after placing everything together I didn't find a need.
IMPORTANT NOTE : Like enclosing any speaker, it will affect the sound quality. I added some “vent” holes to help, but it will inevitably worsen the audio quality. I mainly use my Alexa for timers, reminders, etc. so it doesn't bother me at all. Also, because it's so easy to take in and out of the enclosure, I pop it out right quick to have a jam session then pop it back in :)
Hope you enjoy!
