🌾 Planting Tips (Cat Grass / Wheat)

• Pre-Soak Seeds: For best results, soak cat grass or wheat seeds in water for 8–12 hours before planting. This helps them germinate faster.
• Add Soil: Fill the top insert of the planter with potting soil or coconut coir (light, airy substrates work best).
• Sow Seeds Evenly: Spread a generous layer of soaked seeds across the soil surface — cat grass grows thickest when planted densely.
• Cover & Press: Lightly press the seeds into the soil and cover with a very thin layer of soil (optional — they’ll still sprout if left uncovered).
• Watering: Add water to the lower reservoir and moisten the soil at the top during the first days. After sprouting, the reservoir helps keep roots hydrated.
• Sprouting Time: Seeds usually sprout in 3–5 days. Keep the planter in a bright spot but out of direct harsh sunlight until established.
