Is the loop connection supposed to disconnect when finished printing?

No. It is printed into the pendent.

thats what i figured. Mine printed with a gap and then barely attached and so disconnected when i pulled off the print plate. looked at the model and thats how it showed it printing.

Did you split the model or make any modifications. I have printed and sold this many times with no issue. Here is the print preview and it’s printed into the pendent.
