Description

Strong tib bar for standard plates upto ~23cm. *Plate size that will fit will depend of shoe/foot size. Should easily fit standard 2.5kg plates and lower and some 5kg plates.

I have tested the strength of one of the bars to be able to hold over 60kg. I expect the tib bar can handle 40kg without breaking and definitely the 20kg or less that most people will be using! This is with my profile (using ABS) of course. I have not tested with PLA and recommend ABS for the superior strength.

Assembly instructions:

  1. Screw two bars, long thread end all the way into the desired frame piece (the one you use will just determine which side has some thread handing out). *Make sure these two will align with the other frame piece to not include the hole that doesn't have thread.
  2. Line up the other frame piece and start to screw the thread into the second frame piece, alternating between the two bars to keep it even. Get the threads all the way through. You should have the two bars for your feet in place now.
  3. Slide the final bar through the hole with no thread and add your weights, then screw the bar to secure it.
  4. Place clips either side of your weight. These clips aren't perfect tbh, but they get the job done and there hopefully won't be too many times when the weights slide.

Let me know hoe you go! First time uploading a model for the community. I hope this helps someone out!
