ATTENTION CHANGE ***16.12.25***
Due to reported errors, it was determined that the current Slicer version appears to have issues with old support structures.
For this reason, the 3mf file has been revised and the supports have been reset.

Just for fun, I also added a Pickelhaube from WWI. It looks very stylish, and someone has to be the boss. So if you already own beer helmets, with this one you'll be the boss at the table during your next beer night.

Support Issue:The design is actually very nice and works wonderfully, but the supports are an absolute nightmare! The supports are designed with a kink around the spiked helmet, which makes even the small "trees" difficult to remove. Not to mention the large "pillar support," which needs to be stable to build the helmet on it... okay, but you should be able to remove the supports in one piece and easily, no luck.... 1000 small filigree effort, caution and too much work for supports are necessary to get the actually beautiful helmet out safely and intact. Due to the support hassle and the fact that the supports use a lot of filament (in vain), I'm giving it only 3* (I printed the file unchanged from Bambu Handy) maybe I could have saved a bit on supports with Bambu Studio. Now painted, largely historically accurate. I will leave it at a single print for now

Thank you for your valid objection but I did not design the supports that way at all I just downloaded it again from MakerWorld myself and indeed the support structure is displayed incorrectly I will compare this again with my original data I am sorry that you have such a problem but I definitely understand what you mean and will try to find a solution

It seems that the "new" current slicer is the problem. Somehow, the supports are generated differently than originally intended. I am currently trying to fix this, but it is really just producing garbage

Oh God, I hope it works, as I said the design is beautiful and very detailed, only the supports Question: I finally managed to remove the supports, my previous bottle helmet was hollow inside, is the Pickelhaube also hollow or is it filled inside There's still something in there at the moment, but I don't know if that's still leftover support or if it's part of the print

I don't know which filament you used, but slower and more cooling might have helped, support removal urgently needs to be done with a cutter

Support Issue:So the part looks good in itself, but the supports are terrible in some cases and it takes a lot of time and effort to remove them. I use bambulab pla basic machine is calibrated and never have any problems with the supports. I have another one. "Trying with other material was the same result.

I have already improved it, regarding the spacing... It looks good on my end, I cannot say exactly what the issue is on your end

yes, unfortunately this seems to vary from printer to printer. I've already adjusted it in the current profile, but there are still some significant tolerances. Thank you anyway for the 4 stars

printed with PLA Silk... looks good, only removing the support structure is quite challenging, some went off when removing, if there is a trick I don't know yet.. let me know :-) Otherwise really great, thank you
