Description
Magic Magnetic Ring
I made this for a simple trick where I make a spider go through a glass vase, but it can be used for any trick you can think of. Remember with magic, ½ of the trick is the story you tell with it. Get the person/crowd invested in the trick and story you are preforming. I didn't simply scale the rings I made each one separate to ensure a good fit for all the sizes. Speaking of sizes… I have big fingers and was tired of rings not fitting so I included Ring finger sizes from 3-18 US,CA,Mex. If you need a different size let me know and I will try to add it. If you are in a country that doesn't use US sizing, simply use a conversion chart here Ring size - Wikipedia.

My spider model in the trick can be found here https://makerworld.com/en/models/1484234-spider-black-widow-magnetic-magic

Parts needed: 2 magnets - 8mm dia x 2mm height or one 8mm x 4mm
You may be able to use other combinations/sizes, but this is what I used. I did a lot of testing and felt this was the best balance of size (I didn't want the rings to be big and obvious), strength (too small and they don't have enough attraction)
Ring Sizes May Vary
After some testing I realized the filament and machine will factor into the end printed ring diameter. I can't account for what filament and machine everyone will use, but there are several things you can do if you are trying to get the ring sizes more exact. Like Adjust the x-y hole compensation (I find .2 - .3mm is very close and have already set it to .2mm). Or just use a little sandpaper on the inner circle of the ring if needed.
Pausing for Magnet Placement
There is a pause for the print at line 48, this is to insert the magnets. If you change the layer height you will have to adjust this. Ask me for help if needed. Make sure you double check the magnet polarity if it is important for the trick. For my spider trick it is (the spider uses other magnets). If you are just trying to have metal stick to it, it doesn't matter. MAKE SURE THE MAGNETS ARE ALL THE WAY DOWN! Then resume print.

Print Recommendations
Make sure your plate is clean or ready to print. I recommend using glue as the surface area of parts of the ring are very skinny or use a Supertack plate or equivalent.
