Description

My DIY alternative to the Ncase M2 Tempered glass window

  • Can be used with sheet glass or plexi glass with 2mm of thickness with a dimension of 23.6cm x 34.4cm, but depending on your printer accuracy, I suggest you print this frame first and remeasure the length and width before cutting/ordering your custom cut sheet/plexi glass

  • the support for the slots can be challenging and tricky to remove, you have been warned.

  • alternatively, you can use support material for the support for easy removal, but from my experience, using PLA as support cause my PETG print layer to be very weak and easily separated, maybe it's my settings, your result may vary.

  • I have design it to slightly protrudes to clear my Noctua NH-D12L heat-pipes, which the normal position causes the heat-pipes to press against the glass.

  • Assembly is easy, just print the model twice, remove the support thoroughly (especially in the glass slot), slide the glass, and snap the prints together.
