Description
The easiest way to cover unused fan connectors - Small part, big safety !
This simple 3D-printed part is designed as a protective plug (or cap) for standard 4-pin PWM male fan connectors commonly found in PC builds and electronics projects.
Its purpose is to:
- Cover the exposed metal pins to prevent accidental short circuits or electric contact.
- Add a clean look by hiding unused connectors.
- Protect the connector from dust and mechanical damage when not in use.
Features:
- Fits standard 4-pin PWM fan male connectors
- Lightweight, low material usage
- Easy to print, no supports required
- Can of course be printed in any filament color to match your build
Recommended Print Settings:
- Material: PLA / PETG
- Layer height: 0.20 mm is OK, go finer for a super-clean look
- Infill: won't really matter considering the size
- No supports required
Notes:
- This part is intended for low-voltage PC fan connectors (12V / 5V)
- Always double-check fit before use
- Not a certified electrical insulator – use at your own discretion
