Description

Batman multipass wallet

This is a 3d printed wallet designed to fit a driving license with the photo matching the batman mask.

This is a proper wallet, it fits up to 5 credit cards and change.

There are several profiles available, and depending on how successful this is, I will add more or even make a parametric set for this.

The wallet locking might be stiff the very first time when used.

Open and close the wallet with care for the first uses to avoid bending it. I made the walls thin to ensure good visibility of the face and hence there is some fragility in the printed model.

Handle with care.

Minimum sanding of the lock might be required, depending of the quality of the filament used.

The current profiles are:

*** UK-EU-V1 -15-22

This fits the UK and EU driving license, potentially some of the national ID cards.

The setup works on the following position of the face on the card

   - Nose located at approx 14-16mm from the lateral edge

   - Eyes located at approx 20-24mm from the top edge

*** US-V1-70-95

This fits the US driving license (design based on Idaho but tested on several others).

The setup works on the following position of the face on the card

   - Nose located at approx 0.65-0.75in from the lateral edge

   - Eyes located at approx 0.9-1.0in from the top edge

Please message me if you would want a different profile added, giving the dimension of the card and the position of the eyes and nose as shown above.

Printing instructions

Please let the model completely cool down before removing it from the plate. The wallet wall are 0.8mm to allow better visibility of the face and might bend if the model is not completely cool.

Bending instructions

Bend the wallet as shown below. It should be almost closed even without locking it in place, otherwise the wallet wall will bend.
