Description

The first official chapter of the 3D Tokens series begins with a clash at the town gates. Fast printing minis, a printable map, and a ready-to-run story bring your tabletop to life in a single evening.

The Story

The night was filled with laughter and ale at the Two Kegs Tavern. Flames from the hearth danced across mugs and faces as Barl “Two Kegs” Umberpo told another tall tale about the time he outran a pack of wolves with nothing but a barrel and his boots. Then came the bell. One sharp toll, then another, growing faster and more frantic.

From behind the bar, Two Kegs slammed his tankard down and roared for help as the echo of goblin horns drifted over the walls. The market square erupted into chaos. Patrons spilled into the streets, half armored, half sober, trying to make sense of the noise.

With most of the town guard away on patrol, only a handful of defenders stood ready. The heroes rallied what few remained, blacksmiths clutching hammers, a clerk wielding a broom, a young guard gripping his sword with trembling hands. Together they raced toward the gate, the night alive with shouts and the hiss of arrows cutting through the dark.

The first impact came like thunder. The wooden gate groaned under the weight of the battering ram, then splintered apart in a burst of splinters and screams. Goblins poured through the breach, howling and wild eyed, their blades glinting in the torchlight.

The battle spilled into the narrow streets. Flames leapt from thatched roofs, and the air filled with smoke and steel. For many, it was the first true fight of their lives, a desperate clash between terror and courage. When dawn finally came, the heroes stood bloodied but unbroken among the fallen. The Goblin Raid had been repelled, but the cost was heavy, and whispers already spread that this was only the beginning.
