Description

For use on SkiDoo snowmobiles with a universal flywheel puller like the one pictured. The holder will prevent the engine from rotating without having to use a wrench on the puller. The spacer will allow for easy aligning when snugging up the puller so it pulls straight. Installing magnets will allow it to self align and stay in place while bolting on the puller.

The holder can be used with the factory bolts/washers (the ones that hold the starting pulley to the flywheel) to lock the engine for removing the flywheel nut and again when torqueing the nut to 92 foot-pounds on installation.

All walls for the holder and nothing special for the spacer. It worked good and made it much easier to use the universal style puller. If using magnets make sure to install them correctly so they attract and not repel each other when mating the pieces together.

It'll fit many flywheels from different SkiDoo engines, but the only ones I have experience with are the following

  • 800, SDI, HO, R, Ptek, Etec,
  • 600HO, SDI, Etec
  • 1000SDI
  • 600 non HO, 500SS, 600 Carb
  • 440 LC

Won't fit 600R Etec, 850 Etec.
