Stay-on Reusable Cable Tie in TPU

This is a tested design for reusable cable ties made with flexible filament (TPU). After a year of use, it has proven useful for different cable types (USB, HDMI, DisplayPort, UTP, power). 

Features:
• Stay-on loop: once attached to cable, it remains in place even when not in use.
• Angled locking tab: easy to slide, secure hold, smooth release.
• Low filament usage.
• No supports or brim needed.

Included Models:
• Thin cable variants: 70 mm, 90 mm max bundle circumferences.
• Thick cable variants: 140 mm, 190 mm, 280 mm, 300 mm max bundle circumferences. 

Print & Material Settings (as tested):
• Material: TPU or other flexible filament (required)
• Layer height: 0.20 mm
• Walls: 2 perimeters
• Top layers: 5 (monotonic line)
• Bottom layers: 3 (monotonic line)
• Infill: 15 % gyroid
• Supports / brim: not needed

Usage Tips:
Attach tie to cable once (uses the “stay-on loop”) so it won’t get lost. Pull the angled locking tab through to secure, and to release, flex gently. 

Tip: Use different filament colors to easily identify cable types. For example, orange for USB-C, another color for Micro USB, and so on. This makes it easier to recognize cables at a glance and keep your setup organized.
