Description

Update: 4/27/26 Some people complained about a loose fit that I was not able to reproduce, this seems to occur with the Milanese band. I recently got one to test with I have corrected this issue in the latest release.

I recently picked up a used Series 10 42mm Apple Watch (The Series 11 42mm is supposed to have the same sized case). I sometimes work with tools and do activities that might scratch up the face. I wanted a faceplate for it so I can keep it from getting scratched or broken or just something to protect it if I take it off and throw it into the bottom of a bag. I used my Carbon Fiber Texture Plate to print these.

Printed in PLA it easily snaps on and off. Unlike ones that completely enclose the crown it makes it easier to reach both the crown and the buttons. I included 2 models one will completely cover the face, the other leaves the face open, but prevents the watch from getting scratched.

Scaling this model up for the 44mm version may work, but I don't have one to test it. If you have success scaling it please post your settings and specifically what watch you have. This will not work with ANY Apple Watch Ultra! I do not think it will work for any of the SE series either, but you are welcome to try and post your results. It's a pretty quick print that doesn't take much filament to test.

I'm working on a TPU version of this case too, when I'm happy with the result I'll post a profile. Thanks for looking!

Any of these models that require an exact fit usually require several iterations to work properly. I made 6 prototypes before getting to this one and wore them around. Any boosts are greatly appreciated!
