BEFORE PRINTING: MAKE SURE THAT YOUR BUILD PLATE IS CLEAN, AS A DIRTY PLATE WILL MAKE PRINTING SMALL PARTS IMPOSSIBLE.

Hi! I'm excited to present my new model of the IJN flagship battleship Yamato.

This battleship was truly a beast, and for many people it is the battleship standing alongside legends like Bismarck, Tirpitz, and Iowa.
It carried the largest main battery ever fitted to a warship and was the largest battleship ever built by displacement!

Definitely a must have in Your collection.

This model is highly detailed, fully printable with a 0.4 mm nozzle, and does not require AMS.

However, if you have one, I recommend using a 0.2 mm nozzle for the smallest parts and turrets to achieve a cleaner, sharper look.

If you scale the model down, printing everything except the hull with a 0.2 mm nozzle will give the best results.

There is also spotter plane model but unfortunately you need 0.2 nozzle.

The model is designed in 1:600 scale, but you can resize it to your preferred scale by uniformly scaling all parts using this formula:

S = (600 × 100) ÷ X

Where:

  • S = scale you enter in your slicer
  • X = your desired real-world scale (e.g., 1:700 → X = 700)

This model was created for the “Battleship” contest, so please don’t forget to rate it and share photos if you print it. It really helps!

If you print my models, please share photos in the comments! It really helps with the algorithm!

If you have any suggestions or questions, feel free to leave them in the comments!
