Description

Breakaway clip for a thin lanyard, designed to fit an 10 mm lanyard or smaller. You can scale the model if you need a larger size. When you pull on the lanyard, the clip will open. This can prevent injuries or strangulation.

Please test how tight you need to pull to open! Different tolerances of your printer or different material properties can greatly affect the end result with such a small print. Tested with PLA.

Printed in Silk, may have made it a bit brittle. It cracked at a layer line where the notch goes in, but works very well still. Printed for a bracelet my daughter made, so good for what I needed.

good, it is small though. and hard to take out once plugged in

Try taking it apart a few times or if it is really way too tight file off the knob a bit. The tightness depends a lot on the filament and the tolerances of the printer.

Quick print. At 150% matches my standard size lanyards in PLA. Now a wear test!

the original size was very brittle using PLA - I reprinted at 125% and it works great as a breakaway connector for my dog's newest scarf :) Thank You.

I have used this print multiple times and I have only had a few issues when trying to print multiple sets all on one tray. Thanks for creating this file.
