To avoid constantly holding the hose during an aquarium water change, I designed this aid.

Simply attach the filler to the aquarium using the locking screw and connect the filling hose with a Gardena connector.

The side holes also prevent sand from being stirred up from the bottom.

The filler and retaining bracket are printed separately and then glued together. I used PETG for this. However, it should also work with other materials.

No O-ring is required for the hose connection. It works without one.

Can you construct some kind of hose holder so that the hose is guided down over the edge of the aquarium without kinking? This disrupts the water flow. That would be great.

Will this work on rimmed aquariums, or only rimless?

I have been looking for something like this for a long time. Finally, no more problems with hose fixation on the aquarium and the water change works very well without disturbing the substrate. The printing went very well. Thank you very much!

if you could change the connection to be facing down on the outside of the tank it would create less stress on the print and let gravity hold the hook in place.

Should it be glued together before being installed in the aquarium?

Yes. Glue it before you use it.

nice design but how is the hose attached? Gardena nozzle is not included. Which one fits? Is there a thread for it

The hose is simply plugged on via a 1/2 inch connection. You will have to organize this yourself. There are various manufacturers that offer such connections. No thread is provided
