Boost Me (for free)
If you like my work, I would be very happy if you would boost me!
SPECIAL FEATURE: mow 1 cm! lower than your original blade disc
The three blades on the robotic mower seemed both too few and too expensive to me. That’s why I designed this part. After several test prints, the mowing disc is now complete and fits plug & play, without any modifications.
All you need to do is install the M4 heat-set inserts (I used Ruthex) and remove the three support structures from the holes where the screws will later secure the mowing disc to the mower. To mount it, you’ll need 3x M4x18 screws.
The original disc weighs about 150 g. The new printed version, with 40% infill, also weighs around 150 g. However, the advantage is clear: six blades last significantly longer than three, and replacement blades are much cheaper.
The disc was specifically designed for the Dreame A1, but it should also be compatible with the A1 Pro, A2, and several Mova models. Feel free to share in the comments whether it fits your mower.
!IMPORTANT!
- Print with 40% infill (I use triangles as the infill pattern)
- Enable support structures (normal or tree)
Note on Cutting Height:
The mowing disc was deliberately designed about 1 cm higher, allowing you to cut grass shorter than the app normally permits.
Example: If the app is set to a cutting height of 3 cm, the actual cutting height will be 2 cm. Please keep in mind: The disc always cuts 1 cm lower than shown in the app.
