This model comes about due to the very poor quality of the original part of this grinder, it is made of very hard plastic, and what's worse, the molding of the piece leaves the locking and securing part as the most exposed and least protected from use. Even being delicate with its use, it ends up breaking and splitting

 

Since 3D printing plastic is not food-safe, especially in a part that undergoes continuous abrasion, I have decided to only manufacture the part that solves the problem, and not the entire lid

 

To adapt the part, we first need to make space for the new lock to fit. We will have to sand or cut the lid part by at least 3.5mm in height, and about 12mm in width for it to fit comfortably

 

It can be press-fitted, or apply a couple of drops of cyanoacrylate for better adhesion

 

Printed in PLA, you can do it in the type of plastic you prefer
