Description

This clamp makes mounting the LeRobot SO-101 Arm to a table simple and tool-free. The geometry is tailored to fit the SO-101 base, alignes with its contours and fixes the base with two pins. Just slide the clamp into position, tighten by hand, and the arm is ready to use.

I printed the part with Bambu PAHT and PETG HF, but I assume PLA would probably work as well. Please make sure you use my print profiles, as I included a modifier for higher infill in the loaded parts.

I included two lengths, for screws and clamps:

  • Table thickness up to 30mm (25mm*) → use small clamp (1,18 inch | 0,98 inch)
    • Short screw: Table thickness 20-30mm (15-25mm*)
  • Table thickness up to 50mm (45mm*) → use large clamp (1,97 inch | 1,77 inch)
    • Short screw: Table thickness 40-50mm (35-45mm*)

*) if you use the TPU anti-slip pad (https://makerworld.com/de/models/1796452-lerobot-so-101-tpu-anti-slip-pad#profileId-1915255)

The short screw (25mm thread length) is sufficient for tables that are up to 10mm thinner than nominal table thickness (0,39 inch). If in doubt, print the long screw with 40mm thread lenght, which covers the full range.

The threads have plenty of clearance, such that there should be no issues.
