Description

Boost Me (for free)

Built for gearheads 🏎️🔧  this chain & gear lamp is pure mechanical art. If you’d rock this in your garage or office, smash that Boost

Bring the spirit of the workshop to your home with this Gearhead Chain & Gear Lamp – a striking desk light designed for car lovers, bikers, and anyone obsessed with mechanical style. Inspired by real transmission gears and timing chains, this lamp adds an authentic automotive touch to your space, whether it’s your garage, office, or man cave.

The design works with a standard E27 socket (EU) or E14 for a smaller bulb.
For the USA: E27 = E26 (medium base) and E14 = E12 (candelabra base) – so you can easily find a bulb and socket that fits.

To achieve a clean and professional finish, print in silk silver PLA for a realistic metal look – it gives the gears and chain a true engine-part feel. Pair it with a vintage Edison-style bulb or warm LED filament bulb for the perfect industrial vibe.

For best results, use a socket where the cord can be detached so you can pass it through the channel and reconnect it.

Recommended Sockets:

Perfect for:

  • Car enthusiasts & petrolheads
  • Garage or workshop lighting
  • Unique gifts for gearheads & bikers
  • Industrial or steampunk home decor

I know that feeling, it happened to me three times. I then sliced it on Orca, it used 3 supports and it worked

Gotta love expert critiques from people with zero designs on their profile. When you actually make something we can compare notes. Until then enjoy the free show 😉

This is an awesome project but quite a challenge printing it in one piece. If you could do this as a print and assemble project like this one by corco design I'd be printing this all day for friends. Engine Piston Lamp (LED Lamp Kit-001) - Free 3D Print Model - MakerWorld
