AMS Sealing Cap for the EIBOS Tetras AMS Dryer
Print Profile(1)

Description
đ¨ Problem (shown by Mpox):
In Mpox's legendary video about the *EIBOS Teras AMS Dryer Upgrade* (from 6:20 min), the smoke test clearly shows:
đ The original covers in the AMS are as leaky as a sieve
đ Warm air migrates to adjacent chambers â temperatures equalize
đ Result: The purpose of chamber separation = partially lost

đĄ My Solution
Here's my self-designed Press-Fit Cover:
- Insert, press, it fits!
- To remove: Flat screwdriver, *pop*, it's out again
- No screws, no fiddling, 100% drop-in
đ Advantages at a Glance
⨠Tighter than OEM â less air exchange between chambers
⨠Stay cool â adjacent chambers don't heat up unnecessarily
⨠Super easy installation â no tools, no modification
⨠Designed for Makers â Print it, it holds â no glue needed
đ¨ď¸ Print Recommendations
- Material: PETG or ASA/ABS (PLA works, but can get warm â warped = meh)
- Layer height: 0.2mm
- Walls: 3â4
- Infill: 20% is easily enough
- Orientation: flat on the large side
- Supports: see print profile
- Brim: optional for extra adhesion
đ§ Installation & Post-processing
- Pull out the OEM part
- Insert new part â some pressure on top
- Done. đŻ
- Remove? Flat screwdriver, carefully pry
â ď¸ Important:
- The printed part *must* be completely deburred â small filament strands or sharp edges will otherwise interfere with the fit
- Depending on the printer/filament, it may be necessary to slightly rework the single nose with sandpaper to ensure everything sits cleanly and without tension
â ď¸ Note
- Not an official EIBOS/Bambu part â DIY solution
- Initial tests are running â monitor temps when first used
- Every printer scales a little differently â if too tight: scale XY by 0.5â1% or deburr the edge
đ Credits
- Big Thanks to Mpox for the cool smoke test â without it, I wouldn't have built this
- This sealing cap is for everyone who wants to make their AMS even more efficient
