In-Spool Desecant Canister

As the name suggests, this is small canister that can be screwed into the middle of spools for desiccants. It consists of 3 parts, the “canister,” the “cap” and the “Fastening ring” once more the names are fairly self explanatory, the canister holds desiccant, the cap is a cap for the canister and the fastening ring holds the canister in the spool. The fastening ring and cap act independently from each other so the canister can be removed from the spool without opening the canister and vise versa. 

Disclaimer: I actually have no idea how well this works because the way spools are designed there's still a layer of plastic or cardboard between the desiccant and filament. My prediction would be that it works better on cardboard spools and for long storage.  That said I still think it looks cool and thought I might share it.
