Naruto Uzumaki (うずまきナルト, Uzumaki Naruto) is the protagonist of the manga and anime series Naruto and Naruto Shippūden. He also participates in the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga and anime, a sequel to the original work by Masashi Kishimoto. He is a resident of Konohagakure, son of the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze and his wife Kushina Uzumaki, in addition to being the current reincarnation of Asura Ōtsutsuki.
He was a member of Team Kakashi along with Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha. He is currently the Seventh Hokage (七代目火影, Nanadaime Hokage; literally «Seventh Fire Shadow») of Konoha, fulfilling his dream, as well as the husband of Hinata Hyūga and father of Boruto Uzumaki and Himawari Uzumaki.
