UGREEN NAS DXP480T Plus Cooling Mod M

This new lid was developed for better cooling of the SSDs in the UGREEN NASync DXP480T Plus. The original fan lid contains two small fans that run almost constantly and are audible. In this version of the lid, a heatsink is placed on the SSDs and a fan is mounted in the lid. The lid is attached at the original mounting points with the original screws

With this cooling mod, on the one hand, the temperature is better dissipated by the heatsink, and on the other hand, better cooling is achieved by a larger fan at minimal speed. Depending on the fan model, the volume is barely audible

In my case (Samsung 990 Pro), the SSD temperatures dropped from 46 degrees to 30 degrees at idle. In addition, the CPU temperature dropped by 4-5 degrees

Printed with Bambu PLA Matte Charcoal 11101. The color is almost the same as the underside of the casing
