Description

TBH, I never planned on making a moss pole, but after trying out other designers’ versions, I wanted to combine some of their elements, so I ended up creating my own design 🙂 And here we are! It fits my plants perfectly (and I have quite a few 🌿).

That said, I’m always open to new ideas and suggestions for improvements, so feel free to share your thoughts!

Parts:

  • Stake (base for stability in soil)
  • Open pole
  • Half-closed pole
  • Slow watering reservoir OR small cap (you can't use both on one pole)
  • Large clips (Ø10 mm / 0.39")
  • Small clips (Ø9 mm / 0.35")
  • Flat bases in 2 sizes
  • Side watering reservoir

Features:
✔️ Modular – stack more poles to build the height you need
✔️ Two watering options – with reservoir or cap
✔️ Easy assembly – snap together, fill with moss, secure plant stems with clips
✔️ Strong & lightweight

Sizes & Dimensions

  • Reservoir capacity: 200 ml (6.8 oz) or 350 ml (11.8 oz)
  • Pole diameter: 4 cm (≈1.6 in) or 6 cm (2.36")
  • Pole height: 23 cm (≈9.1 in)

Update 2026/30/01: Added flat base attachment in 3 sizes:

  • H 9 cm (3.5 in) – Φ 6 cm (2.4 in)
  • H 12 cm (4.7 in) – Φ 9 cm (3.5 in)
  • H 15 cm (5.9 in) – Φ 12 cm (4.7 in)

Update 2026/11/02: Added short poles for A1mini - height 17.9 cm

Update 2026/02/17: Added a complete new set of 60 mm diameter moss poles with all attachments, including short pole versions optimized for printing on the A1 Mini.

Update 2026/02/05: I’ve added a side watering reservoir to the hex moss pole system - something I’ve been wanting to test for a while.

This small add-on helps distribute water more evenly through the pole, especially to the lower sections that usually dry out faster.

You can install it at the connection between segments, so water slowly feeds down into the pole instead of just soaking the top.

It’s a simple addition, but it makes a noticeable difference in keeping the pole consistently moist.
