Boosts mean points and points make prizes. Any support is most appreciated. This is all just stuff I create in my spare time.

Alternatively, I like hot chocolate https://buymeacoffee.com/dbt85

Simple mounting bracket for the Makita dual 18v charger DC18RD.

You do not need to remove the feet from your charger, you do not need to print anything in anything remotely exotic. PETG is perfectly fine. PLA might suffer some creep over time due to the weight of the unit and batteries, but I can't say for sure.

On the top and the bottom are loops to put a cable tie through to secure your excess power cable neatly out of the way.

The print uses about 100g of filament with 4 walls and 15% infill and secures the charger nicely to the wall using 4 screws. I have gone this high on settings as the charger with 2x 6Ah batteries comes in at around 3.3kg, so I'd rather it be too strong (I've not weighed mine, but those numbers come from the Makita tech sheets). If you knock it down to 3 walls you save about 15g of filament and maybe 10 minutes of print time.

The two build plates offer either a model with fuzzy skin on the main face (approx 2h44m) or without (2h6m). Brims are on by default, turn them off if you are content with your adhesion.

Multiboard edition

This charger with 2 batteries weighs over 3 kilos. If your multiboard is not securely fixed then it will flex and the charger will feel loose. This is a fault with the mounting of the multiboard, NOT this part. The feet of the charger sit on the face multiboard when it is secure.

Included with the profile are 4x 13mm small screws which are printed flat before the main bracket prints. If you'd like to change their colour you can do so and you will only need to do a single colour change before the main bracket prints. Otherwise this bracket is the same as the standard version.

Omniwall/Pegboard edition

To accommodate the 25.4mm hole spacing used on these mounting systems, included with the profile are 4x small anchors which are printed before the main bracket prints. In the feet of the bracket are slots for these anchors. Separate/trim them, insert them fully into the slots in the bracket and then pop the bracket into your omniwall/pegboard and secure with a 3 or 4mm wide 20mm long screw. Otherwise,, this bracket is the same as the standard version.

After seeing a part on reddit that is very similar to this,I sought to purchase either it or the file to print myself. The part was available to buy (happy to pay), but the postage costs ended up making it prohibitively expensive and as a result, I decided to draw my own mount from scratch, and this is the result. If you have lots of chargers that need mounting I recommend having a look at their site, as they have lots more mounts than I will ever need or drawing up. That's https://tooltransformer.com/.

I don't do coffee, but I love a hot chocolate!
